A visionary mind
Giorgio Raimondi passed on to his son the visionary temperament that always set him apart, leading him to experiment with revolutionary innovations over the years: first in the field of engines (for BMW), then hull designs, and finally propellers, together with his friend Phil Rolla. From a prototype for a floating bicycle to the first races organized on Lake Lucerne by local boating aficionados, Giorgio Junior’s lively imagination was zealously nurtured by his father’s passion and creativity.
But Giorgio Junior always pursued a single passion: speed. His research consistently focused on this theme, which today makes Volta Boats a unique player in the worldwide marine industry. His passion led him to victory year after year in the Italian Sport 850T championship thanks to the initial models of the arrow-shaped boats that set him apart in every race. Nonetheless, for Giorgio Junior that was not enough: he yearned for new adventures. And the rest is history.
